My research interests fall into the area of human-computer interaction, computer-supported collaborative work, and computer-supported learning. I had focused on designing user interfaces and interactions that offer meaningful collaborative and learning user’s experiences by exploring cognitive aspects and learning theories to make more effective interaction designs. I have done research designing user interfaces and interactions that improve educational outcomes in informal learning environments such as museums, science centers and zoos. I have developed mobile solutions to support explainer’s interpretation and professional development. Additionally, I have run ethnography studies and participatory design sessions with populations such as experts/novices and teenagers. I’m also interested in interactive data science.
